The Charming Silk Monastery, located at an altitude of about 6250 feet from this decade to the eighteenth century, is an old monastery. The tourists will find the traditional Lepcha House built in the Lepcha style. This Ringchingpong has a summary of the historical era and mysterious beauty.
A spectacular view of the crimson sunrise over the snow-capped Himalayas can be seen from Maggie Stream, a travel destination. Srijangha Temple is within 4 km of Ringchingpong. Here the whole valley is adorned with red flowers of rhododendron trees.
History
This is a historically important Hamlet. The historic battle took place here. Historically, the British government sent soldiers to Sikkim in 1860. Lepcha, a resident of Sikkim, mixed unknown herbal poison into the only source of water, killing most of the British soldiers. The lake has been known as Bikhpokhari since that day.

#2. Singsore bridge
The Singshore Bridge, which is 100 meters high and 240 meters long, is the highest bridge in Sikkim and the second-highest bridge in Asia. The bridge is making between two hills. This is a very popular tourist spot in Sikkim, the bridge is around 38 km from Rinchenpong.
#3. Varsey Rhododendron Sanctuary
Varsey Rhododendron Sanctuary is located in West Sikkim near Rinchenpong which is only 30 km, where you can see the diversity of rhododendrons and the breathtaking views of Mount Kanchenjunga. The sanctuary is one of the best places for nature and adventure lovers.
#4. Rinchenpong Monastery
Rinchenpong Monastery is located at an altitude of 5500 feet in between two villages of Rinchenpong and Kaluk in West Sikkim. The third oldest monastery in Sikkim is a popular tourist attraction.
#5. Sribadam village
It is a beautiful small forest village between Sareng and Kaluk in West Sikkim. Sribadam is only 11 kilometers form Rinchenpong. Green forests, rivers, waterfalls, a meditation center, and monasteries surround the village of Sribadam.
#6. Maggi Dara
Maggie Dara is a place situated only 4 kilometers from Rinchenpong. There is a monastery with great murals and it is a tourist attraction in Sikkim.
#7. Kaluk Village
Kaluk has slowly become a very popular tourist spot in west Sikkim. Rinchenpong to Kaluk distance is only 4 kilometers. The Kaluk region has been considered as an eco-tourism hub in Sikkim by the Forest Department, Government. Sikkim. From here the view of Kanchenjunga is also very beautiful.

The Hee Water Garden is situated at Hee Gaon in West Sikkim. It is surrounded by beautiful nature. There’s a waterfall flowing inside the park and has a variety of facilities such as a swimming pool, the experience of the green environment, etc.
#9. Sirijunga Temple (Teyongsi Sirijunga Limboo Cultural Heritage and Research Center)
This is the most popular attraction near Rinchenpong. The place is located in a place called Chayatal, 18 kilometers away from Rinchenpong.

Best time go Rinchenpong
Winter (Oct to Jan):- Winter is ideal for Rinchenpong travel. This is the best time to see the Kanchenjunga mountain range because the sky is clear at that time. It is also a good time for bird watching and trekking.
Spring (February to March):- Rhododendron flower blooming in March, and peaks in April and May. This is also the best time to visit the Varsey Rhododendron Sanctuary which is only 30 kilometers from Rinchenpong.
Summer(April to June):- This is also the best time for those who are looking for a little cool to leave the city hot. The weather is very good at this time.
Monsoon (July to Mid-September):- This is not a good time to go here. It rains a lot at this time and there is a chance of landslides. But for those who like adventure and want to enjoy the beauty of the mountains during the rainy season, this is a great time to visit here.
How to reach Rinchenpong
By road:- Rinchenpong is well connected by roads. The best way to reach Rinchenpong is via Jorethang. Via Jorethang you are first to reach Kaluk and Rinchenpong is only 3 kilometers from Kaluk.
By Rail:- The nearest railway station from Rinchenpong is New Jalpaiguri or NJP. The distance of Rinchenpong is around 128 kilometers from NJP. Many buses, taxis and shere cars are available outside the station.
If you want to get in a shere car, first you have to go to Gangtok or Pelling and book a personal car from there. NJP to Rinchenpong car fare is around 3500 to 4500 its depends on what type of vehicles you selected.
By Air:-The nearest airport is Pakyong airport. This is the brand new airport of Sikkim. The second nearest airport is Bagdogra airport. cabs are easily available outside the two airports to reach Rinchenpong.
Rinchenpong best accommodation
Tourists can stay in 100-year-old British bungalows made of wood and stone only. The upper part of Ringchingpong is surrounded by a deep forest, where the British bungalow is located in a suitable atmosphere.
