Tinchuley is a small, beautiful village in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal. This is located about 5800 feet above sea level. The green village is largely isolated from urban civilization. Once you reach this village, your eyes will just catch the green desert.
The reason behind the name of this place is that there are three hills around it. From a distance, this place looks like three ovens. That is why this place is called Tinchuley.
With the encouragement of WWF (World Wide Federation), almost all the villagers have started Model Organic Villages and Village Tourism. Tinchuley is being developed as an eco-village.
