How to reach Kharka Gaon
If you want to come by train then the nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri and if you want to come by flight then the airport is Bagdogra.
There is no direct bus or car from NJP or Bagdogra to Kharka village. If you want to reach here first you have to come to Kalimpong. And from there you have to come here by private car.
Best Time to Visit
There is no season to visit the mountains. There are different types of mountains in different seasons which can be enjoyed.
Kanchenjunga is well seen during the winter season when the sky is clear.
Many people come here to get relief from the heat of the city in the summer.

There is no ATM here as the place is located in an offbeat location so pick up the appropriate cash from Kalingpong, the largest city nearby.
Keep it with some daily necessities medicine as there is no chemist shop nearby.
It is better to bring a car with good ground clearance as the road is a little bad.

1st Day– (New Jalpaiguri to Kharka gaon) On the first day you can explore the village on foot after reaching here.
